Taylor wore a simply glamorous semi-sweetheart neckline gown. And Matt and the wedding party wore shades of blue.
The couple followed the southern tradition of “Bury the Bourbon”. Visiting the venue one month before the wedding, they buried an unopened bottle of bourbon upside down. As tradition goes, this will bring good fortune and prevent rain the day of the wedding. After saying their “I-Do’s”, they went outside to the Bourbon Field, dug up the bottle and shared the bourbon with their friends.
Taylor and Matt, both graduates of Virginia Tech, could not let the reception begin without their “Enter Sandman” entrance. This is the song the VT football team uses to make their entrance at every game.
After hours of dancing, Taylor and Matt left the reception through a tunnel of sparklers.
