An outdoor winter wedding in Virginia risks being a little stark. However, The Mill at Fine Creek, located in Powhatan County on the outskirts of Richmond, has created an intimate cozy atmosphere within the stone ruins of an old gristmill.
Savanna and Tim chose this venue for their intimate wedding of 100 guests.
Wearing an understated yet elegant satin gown, Savanna donned a chapel-length veil that flowed along with the train of her dress. Her bridesmaids wore dark copper dresses to complement both the season and the atmosphere of the mill.
This wedding was a true family affair. Tim’s young son and daughter were in attendance and participated in the first dances.
As the evening went on, Savanna changed into a comfortable knee-length dress and high-top sneakers. So much fun, laughter, and dancing continued throughout the night.
