The Boathouse Restaurant at Rockett’s Landing is situated on the James River overlooking the city of Richmond, VA.
This location allowed me to capture the cityscape in many of Melanie and Christian’s photographs.
Although most of this day was rainy, the weather broke before the outdoor ceremony started. The overcast skies made the fall colors in the flowers and bridesmaid dresses pop for the photographs.
Melanie looked stunning in an appliqué V-neck gown, complemented by a bouquet of peach, orange, and white flowers. Beauty blended with comfort as she and her little flower girl wore matching sparkle Golden Goose shoes.
Christian and his groomsmen continued with the fall color theme as they wore tan suits with burnt orange ties.
Stella and Tucker, the beloved dogs of Melanie and Christian, were included in the celebration. Not only were they present while Melanie got ready with her bridesmaids, but they also had signature drinks named after them at the reception.
So much love and joy were evident throughout this special day.
